10 Holiday Drinks That Will Have Your Guests Feeling Warm And Jolly

If you are having a winter wedding or holiday party decor that sets the mood is a must, but it doesn’t have to stop there. Try to spice your cocktail hour up with some holiday drinks that will warm up your guests. It is also a nice touch to complement the theme of your wedding or party. Here are some simple recipes of many popular drinks. 

Mulled Wine

This is a holiday favorite of mine that can be served either hot or cold. Its delicious blend of fruit and spices, sets the mood for any festive occasion.


12 oz  Leblon Cachaca
2 – 750 ml bottles of full bodied red wine
2 peels each of a whole orange and lemon
2 cups brewed, chilled Lemon Zinger Herbal tea
2 cups granulated sugar
12 cloves
2-3 cinnamon sticks
2 cardamom pods
4-5 allspice berries, crushed


The Snowtini


1 oz  Absolut Vanilla
½ oz of Jameson Irish Whiskey
½ oz of Rumplemintz
½ oz of Kahlua French Vanilla
½ oz of Butterscotch
1 oz Half & Half Cream
½ teaspoon of Sugar

Somerset Sidecar

To complete the drink try moistening the outer rim of a martini glass with a lemon wedge and coat lightly with the Hazelnut Sugar



1.5oz. Laird’s 12 year old apple brandy
.75 oz . Grand Marnier
.75 oz. fresh lemon
.50 oz . hazelnut liqueur
Hazelnut sugar rim


Holiday Cider


1 1/2 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
1/2 oz. vanilla liqueur
1 oz. apple cider
Dash of angostura bitters
Ginger Ale




4 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups milk
2 whole cloves
Pinch of cinnamon
1 cup cream
1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 Tbsp each of bourbon and rum or brandy, or to taste (can omit for kid-friendly eggnog)
*4 egg whites (optional)


Blushing Lady



1 oz. PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur
2 oz. vodka
1 oz. pink grapefruit juice
Lemon wedge
Coarse sugar for garnish


Christmas Jones

This drink begins with a blend of strawberries, pineapple and vodka and is topped with lemon-lime soda for a refreshing holiday cocktail. It’s topped with a mint garnish that adds a little cheer


4 fresh strawberries
1 part vodka
2 tsp superfine sugar
5 oz pineapple juice
mint sprigs for garnish


Candy Cane

This delicious dessert drink is made with peppermint, chocolate and berry flavors.




3/4 oz SKYY Berry vodka
3/4 oz Peppermint Schnapps
3/4 oz white Crème de Cacao
1/4 oz grenadine
half and half
Soda water


Hot Buttered Rum


1 stick unsalted butter, softened
2 cups light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Pinch ground cloves
Pinch salt
Bottle dark rum
Boiling water


Cuppa Good Cheer


1.5 oz.SKYY Infusions Cherry
0.5 oz.white creme de cacao
4 oz.Hot Cocoa
1 oz.Half ‘n Half
Whipped Cream
Maraschino Cherry
